Get Started with Océ Client Tools

Océ Client Tools is a free collection of processing, printing, uploading, and downloading utilities that connect you with Océ Distribution Center.

After you download and install Océ Client Tools, you must do a simple one-time configuration.

Download and install Océ Client Tools: These tools will enable you to download and upload files to Océ Distribution Center

1. Click Download Client Tools link under Océ Distribution Center.

2. Choose to save the installer file in an easy-to-find folder on your computer.

3. When the download is completed, go to the folder where you saved the file, double-click the file to open it, and double-click the Setup file to start the installation. (Note: The installer will prompt you to choose your language, but for the pre-release program, only English is available.)

4. Follow the rest of the prompts to complete the installation.

One-time configuration

1. Open Océ Publisher

2. Choose Tools, Océ Monitor

3. In the Océ Monitor window, choose Tools, Options

4. Enter the following:

  • Download directory where you want documents to be saved on your computer
  • How often you want Océ Monitor to check for downloads
  • Your Océ Distribution Center user name and password

To view downloaded documents

1. In the system tray, double-click the Océ Monitor icon

2. Right-click the download package, and click Open in Océ Publisher
